Jenilee Foster Joins Des Moines University Clinic - Physical Therapy

Des Moines, IA (06/18/2026) — Jenilee Foster, PT, DPT, MHA, has joined the providers at Des Moines University Clinic - Physical Therapy. Foster brings a wealth of experience to the clinic, located at 3200 Grand Ave. at the DMU32 Health and Business Complex in Des Moines.

Foster's vast clinical experience includes specializing in orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation and pelvic health. She is a certified spinal manual therapist through the International Spine and Pain Institute and Evidence In Motion. She is also certified in dry needling and trained in visceral functional mobilization and Pilates.

Foster's advanced pelvic health practice includes the treatment of pelvic pain, urinary and fecal incontinence, constipation, bowel dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum-related conditions. She is certified in perimenopause and menopause care and is experienced treating athletes with pelvic pain, incontinence and related dysfunctions.

"My philosophy of care is rooted in education, empowerment and truly listening," Foster says. "When clients understand their condition and feel confident in their ability to improve, they become active partners in their recovery. Every plan of care is individualized and grounded in evidencebased interventions and meaningful home programs that are achievable. The most rewarding thing is seeing someone return to an activity they thought was no longer possible."

"As an APTA advanced credentialed clinical instructor and an alumna of Des Moines University's Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Health Care Administration programs, Jenilee is uniquely positioned to contribute to both patient care and student education," says Kari Smith, PT, DPT, WCS, BCB-PMD, clinic manager, who is also a DMU alumna. "Jenilee's extensive clinical expertise, commitment to evidence-based practice, collaboration and passion for mentoring future physical therapists make her an outstanding addition to our clinic."

Foster earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Health Care Administration degrees from Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Dakota.
